Every day my inbox is flooded with questions about Referral Partnerships.

People want to know what they are. They want to know how to get them . And they’re trying to figure out how to get referrals without Pushing.

Chances are, you probably have these same types of questions. And you’ve probably even spent some time on blogs, forums and around the web, trying to get answers. Problem is, you keep getting conflicting answers, right?

A. It’s not about size, its about quality. You can have Thousands of contacts but if the relationship is not strong, you may as well not have any. Start Small and just be honest. Nobody likes a salesman.

Q. Networking is expensive. Is there a cheaper way to get the same results?

A. Networking need not be Expensive. You can just as easily get good contacts from free or inexpensive groups as you can from expensive ones. You will need to dig a little but, inexpensive options are definitely out there.

Q. What’s the fastest way to build that Network?

A. TBH, there isn’t one. Relationships are built on trust but, like all things, if your foundation is strong, building will get faster.

Q. I’ve been trying to create partnerships for months, but I’m not seeing good results. What am I doing wrong?
A. Go back and look at what your end of the bargain looks like. Is it actually beneficial to the other party? I would say that it isnt. Readdress what your own value proposition is.

Q. I don’t have a whole lot of time to Network, because I have work, family and social responsibilities. What do you suggest I do?

A. You always need to find time to work on your business as opposed to just in your business. If you are only working In your business, you will not forge ahead and you may as well just have a Job.
